Before Use
When putting on your competition swim trunks/swimsuit, it's all about patience and "care." Since swimwear comes in such small sizes, you can't just pull it up. It needs to be done in small steps, so you don't create holes in them (be careful with your nails! They can easily damage swimwear) or otherwise ruin them. This process can take a long time depending on how tight the swimwear is (it's not uncommon for it to take up to 25-30 minutes). If you become impatient and just want to be done, that's when accidents happen (which your mom/dad will surely not be happy about).

The best way to put on the swim trunks is as follows:
- Bend the Velcro at the bottom of the swim trunks upwards.
- Insert one foot through the leg opening, pulling it up just above the knee.
- Insert the other foot through the other leg opening and pull it up to just above the knee as well.
- Gently grasp the swim trunks and pull them up in small steps until the bottom sits perfectly.
- Once the part around the knee is in place, take the "remaining" fabric and pull it up over the hips (again in small steps) until the swim trunks are over the hips.
- Pull the swim trunks all the way up and make sure they have reached the back "crevice."
- Finally, adjust the swim trunks so that they fit comfortably and there is no excess fabric. When you are ready to swim, bend the Velcro down just before, so they stay in place.
The best way to put on your swimsuit is as follows:
-
Follow steps 1-5 as outlined above.
-
Pull the swimsuit all the way up over the bra, holding it in place.
-
Then, insert one arm through the swimsuit, followed by the other. This can be done in a quick motion.
-
Take off the bra while the swimsuit is in place, and you are ready to swim.

During use
when you have your competition swimwear on for competitions, it's important to be mindful. It's not advisable to repeatedly jump and flail in the tight-fitting swimwear, as there's a risk that it may eventually tear (this has been observed on several occasions), which is incredibly unfortunate.

After use
When you're done with the competition and have completed your final race, it's time to take off your swimwear. Here, patience is once again key, so don't just pull it off, but take it off in small steps. It's crucial not to get soap/shampoo/other substances on your swim trunks/swimsuits, as it can damage the materials. When you're finished swimming, remember to rinse it in as cold water as possible. This helps "repair" the swimwear.
A good idea is also to remove competition swimwear BEFORE the cool-down swim. This is to avoid "overusing" the swimwear, as excessive wear can lead to a loss of water repellency.
Finally, it's important to place the swimwear in the provided bag. This helps protect them for the next competition and makes it easier for you to remember where they are.
And thus, your swimsuits will last for many years!
With these tips in mind, your swim trunks/swimsuits are ready to endure for 1, 2, and 3 years - without getting lost before then. Your mom/dad will be pleased!
